Introduction

The Italian Energy Summit, the annual appointment of Il Sole 24 ORE, a meeting place for players, associations and institutions of the energy market, is now in its eleventh edition.

Through special sessions, the event will analyse global scenarios and how the Italian and international context is changing, with specific in-depth examination of the various energy sources and the energy consumption optimisation models.

Energy mixes, international alliances, innovation, energy efficiency, environmental sustainability and industrial optimisation will constitute the principal topics of the event.

In a very delicate moment for the renewable energies sector, this year the event will propose a focus dedicated to alternative sources, the new energy account and the repercussions the new legislation will have on the Italian industrial system.

The 2011 edition will end with two technical workshops. The first one will be focused on the fiscal, accounting and legal profiles of investments, the second one will be dedicated to energy purchasing and trading contracts.
